Uniforms Out of Stock

Q:  Why have some uniforms and sizes been out of stock for over a year?

A:  The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is the sole authorized supplier of Coast Guard Uniforms. DLA works only with USA manufacturers. There is a nationwide shortage of fabric supply, and these authorized manufacturers are unable to deliver the fabric needed to make most uniforms. This is impacting items such as ODU’s, Wash And Wear Pants, Dress Pants, SDBs, Windbreakers, Male and Female Ties, and Winter Dress Blue Shirts. DLA has not provided an expected “get well” date for the supply chain.
