Q: Where Should the VSC Decal Be Placed?
A: Decals are usually affixed to a permanent piece of equipment on the boat, such as on the lower forward corner of a portside window or on the lower corner of the port side of the windshield, so it does not interfere with the operator’s vision. If no window is available, the decal may be affixed to the dashboard or other suitable location. On sailboats, the decal may be affixed to the lower port side of the main mast. In any case, the decal should not be attached to easily removable equipment.
